Cooper Twiggs wins his fourth Liberty Racing Review 602 LM Division race at North Georgia Speedway
A stout 17-car field of Liberty Racing Review 602 Late Models rolled into North Georgia Speedway on Saturday, May 9th for another hard-fought weekly points battle at the “Fastest Third Mile in the South.”
Qualifying set the tone early for what would become one of the most competitive divisions of the night, as drivers searched for every ounce of speed around the lightning-fast red clay oval. The tight qualifying times showcased just how deep the field was heading into feature competition.
When the green flag waved for the 15-lap A-Main, fans were treated to intense side-by-side racing throughout the field. Cooper Twiggs powered his No. 100 machine from the fifth starting spot to capture the feature victory after working through traffic and surviving several fierce battles throughout the race.
Charles Devine also put together an impressive drive, charging from seventh on the grid to finish second at the checkered flag. Nick May remained consistent throughout the feature to bring home a third-place finish after starting from the third position.
Spencer Singleton and the rest of the front runners kept the pressure on all race long as the Liberty Racing Review 602 Late Models once again proved why the division continues to be one of the premier weekly classes at North Georgia Speedway.
